Gartner has stated that “the primary reason for implementing PAM is to protect the business”, and the market is still seeing strong levels of market growth and adoption — and we at WALLIX fully agree. Privileged Access Management (PAM) is an identity security solution that helps protect organizations against cyber threats by monitoring, detecting, and preventing unauthorized privileged access to critical resources. Privileged accounts pose a significant risk to the enterprise. When a hacker manages to compromise a privileged user, he can gain access to all systems, and may even have the ability to sabotage them.
